Taylor County School District hosted its annual scholarship golf scramble on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at Campbellsville Country Club.
The scramble raised over $10,000 and proceeds will go towards scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year. Scholarships will be given to two Youth Leadership students, one Career Ready student, one College Ready student, and one College & Career Ready student..

One of the Campbellsville University teams comprised of Benji Kelly, Frank Cheatham, Henry Lee, and Terry VanMeter were the 1st place winners. 2nd place went to Scott Parks, Jr. Higdon, Cooper Parks, and Tanner Parks and David Eakles and his team took home 3rd place. In addition to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash winners, David Eakles won longest drive and the closest to pin winners were Stan England, Josh Johnson, and Daniel Hatcher.
