Welcome to the Taylor County Elementary School website! I hope you will take time to review all the exciting information and learning activities going on throughout our building. As you will see while examining our site, our staff and parents go above and beyond to make our school a special place for each student. With a focus on student achievement and preparing students for the future, we are committed to research-based practices and a curriculum that challenges students to be their best. We define student success by each child reaching his or her full potential and becoming a successful life long learner; therefore, our students are held to high expectations daily. The staff members at TCES strive to create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for all students. It is our sincere belief that, “Every Child, Every Day” will be successful.” This is our district motto and something that our teachers are dedicated to achieving. Enjoy browsing our site. If you are ever in the area, please stop by and see our outstanding school. We are located at 1100 Lebanon Avenue; near Miller Park and the City Lake in Campbellsville. If you have questions about services our school offers, please contact us at 270-465-5691. Sincerely,

Dear Parents and Students, Welcome to our school website! I hope you will find the information contained here helpful and useful. While it is true that Taylor County Elementary bears the title of largest elementary school in the state, we will also argue that we are the Best elementary school in the state. At TCES we strive to create a student centered environment where no child is ever left behind. Teachers, parents, and students work together to achieve our goal of student proficiency. Our beliefs are reflected in our motto, “Every child, Every day”. Our school functions as a family where time is taken to individualize instruction and meet every student at their point of need. We appreciate your interest in our school and invite you to stop by when in the neighborhood. Sincerely, Melissa Long
