Annual Veterans Day Program

Veterans Day Program

Taylor County High School hosted its annual student-led Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Citizens Bank Arena. Lindsey McPherson, English Teacher, coordinated the event.

Veterans were greeted by local Girl Scouts and were pinned with red poppies, symbolizing sacrifice and remembrance. Later in the ceremony, senior Addie Westbrook went into further detail to explain the meaning of the poppy.
