Taylor County Junior Conservation Board and Taylor County FFA worked with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife to sink a new kind of “tree” in efforts to create and establish fish habitats in Green River Lake.

TCHS Art Students Qualify for State

Taylor County High School art students recently competed in the Caveland Regional Art Competition. TCHS was honored by receiving the most awards (19) in the Caveland Region, along with nine State Qualifiers. The Kentucky All-State Competition will be held in Covington, Kentucky in April.

HOSA Wins State HOSA at State

Taylor County High School HOSA students competed at State last week and the MRC group took home 1st place!!

Senator Wise Visits TCIS Senator Wise

On Thursday, March 21, 2019, Kentucky State Senator Max Wise visited with 5th grade students at Taylor County Intermediate School. Earlier in the year, the students in Mrs. Gaskins’ class wrote persuasive argument pieces to Senator Wise regarding Cyber Snow Days.

The Taylor County Family Resource Center located inside of Taylor County Intermediate School now has a micro food pantry to help primary and intermediate students and their families take a bite out of hunger
