CONGRATULATIONS to Taylor County Intermediate School Principal Mrs. Donna Williams for being named the 2019 EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR!!

Mrs. Williams was named the 2019 Educator of the Year at the 70th Annual Campbellsville Taylor County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

Mrs. Donna Williams embodies everything that makes an educator great. First and foremost, she loves her students. She is a hard worker and puts in countless hours supporting her staff and students. Donna is a strong instructional leader who leads with a kind heart and a focus on doing what is best for students. No matter the weather, you can find Mrs. Williams outside every morning welcoming her students to school and every afternoon hugging them goodbye. Donna Williams is the best of the best.

Mrs. Williams earned two degrees from Campbellsville University, one in business administration and the other in elementary education. She has been in education for 25 years. She was in the classroom for 18 years and is a national board certified teacher. She has been principal at TCES/TCIS for the past 7 years. She received the Ashland Teacher Achievement Award in 2012 and was a finalist for the Kentucky Teacher of the Year.

She is married to Gregg Williams and they have three sons, Nathan, Tyler, and J. T. and five grandchildren. She and her husband attend Three Trees Church. She feels blessed to be the principal of TCIS and work with such amazing people who care about students.
