On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Taylor County High School students in Mr. Marcus Rodgers’ Cardinal Kroger classes visited Kroger as part of the Workforce Development Program.
The business and marketing students learned what goes on behind the scenes in a large retail environment. They toured the Click-List area, the inventory stockroom, the loading dock, and the freezer/refrigerator areas. This exposure opened the eyes of the students to gain a better understanding of the processes and efforts that Kroger takes to ensure that their store is ran properly. The students were also introduced to the store manager, Barry McCubbin, and they were able to discuss potential job opportunities.
Taylor County School District and Taylor County High School would like to thank Kroger and Mr. Barry McCubbin for this opportunity!
