For the second year in a row, Taylor County High School is offering Ramsey Solutions’ Foundations in Personal Finance, the premier curriculum for teaching financial literacy to students.
“As the teacher of this course, I am excited to help students grow in their personal finance skills and awareness,” said Marcus Rodgers, Business Teacher at Taylor County High School. “I believe that all students need to understand the importance of managing personal finance prior to high school graduation. TCHS is making an investment in the lives of our students, and that truly shows our continued commitment to making sure our students are ready for life as an adult. This course will help prepare students to make financial decisions for years to come.”
The Personal Finance course is open to TCHS students in grades 9-12. There is no need to have a prerequisite to take the course.
Personal finance expert Dave Ramsey created Foundations in Personal Finance, an easy to use, turn-key high school curriculum that teaches students the value of saving, spending, and giving to guide them down the path of financial literacy.
