Although classrooms have been non-traditional for the last month, Taylor County FFA members still had the chance to shine in the 2020 Lake Cumberland FFA Regional Paperwork contest.
The contest is a measure of the work that a student puts in toward their agriculture project or Supervised Agriculture Experience. FFA members are putting in hours on the farm, in local businesses, and with their projects in an effort to improve their career skills, knowledge, and achieve at a higher level. This contest is comprised of a 10+ page document where the student describes their work within an area of agriculture. In the application, they showcase skills attained, develop a financial balance sheet for their work, create a resume, and show documenting pictures of their skills attained. These applications represent many hours, years, and money invested into their work!
WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR STUDENTS!!
This year, Taylor County FFA submitted 19 documents (over 185 pages) and won 17 at the Regional level! The winners will advance to the State Contest in their award areas.
